The Urawa Reds beat Nagooya at Toyota Stadium, to exact revenge for their loss early last season that saw manager Osieck fired after only a couple of games.
This game, dominated by the visitors, was decided by a first half goal from one of the brightest stars of last year's U-18 championships, Genki Haraguchi. The seventeen year old blasted home from 15 meters, after coming on for Tatsuya Tanaka midway through the half.
